Choosing a kitten by color
Choosing a kitten? Then remember that when choosing you should pay attention not only to the breed, but also to the color of the animal: according to the research of German scientists, it is the coloring that will largely determine the character of your pet and its basic habits. The color of the fur of the kittens helps to divide the cats into several typical groups, and, knowing this, by the color of the pet’s fur, you can determine at a glance what it will be like when you bring it home.
Gentle and docile
It is believed that black kittens are the most obedient, quivering and cute. For a long time, black cats were perceived as bringing misfortune, and centuries of hostility taught these animals to be very sensitive and loving affection. Such a kitten will always be sociable and will easily become attached to you if it feels sincere sympathy, and will also easily find contact with the child. In this case, by the way, it is believed that the black cats, not cats, are the most affectionate and livable. They most often go to the contact and delight their owners with unconditional obedience.
However, if you are too strict with your pet, he will very quickly become nervous and withdrawn and will be afraid to do something so as not to annoy you. So try not to upset the baby in vain.
Harmful and independent
The black temper of the black kittens should not be transferred to animals with gray fur. Unfortunately, gray (as well as striped) kittens are strikingly different from their black counterparts with a quarrelsome and secretive character, as well as heightened isolation. Therefore, if you buy a gray kitten, be prepared for the fact that he will often avoid contact with you and other cats, will most of all appreciate freedom and independence and sometimes will not even want affection or treat from you!
If the cat has expressive gray stripes on the fur, then it’s best to immediately get ready for the intolerable temper and wayward deeds! However, before you get angry, try to just accept it: the kitten will behave this way not from evil, but only because he likes to be alone for a bit.
Sly and clever
The kittens are undoubtedly the most quick-witted (it is not by chance that such scientists are selected to study the nervous activity of animals or training). Animals with the same color of hair from the very first day will be able to get used to your requirements and will obey you. However, do not be surprised if it turns out that their obedience is only a cunning plan, and in fact the pet is simply trying to get something from you in this way.
In time, this striving for naive deceit can even make a little insolent kitten out of a kitten, but still be sure: you will never get outright hooliganism from a red kitten! This baby, if it will act like a shkodnichat, it is only to have fun, or, more likely, to entertain you: red cats feel very well when you are sad and happy to come to support you and have fun.
Touchy and painful
Be careful if you get a white kitten! This baby is certainly very beautiful, but get ready for the fact that you have to adapt to his difficult character. Such a kitten can be offended by trifles and being capricious, and it is precisely the white kittens that are considered the most painful (in particular, they often have problems with hearing). Therefore, when buying carefully inspect the kitten, and be prepared for the fact that the vet will have to visit often enough.
However, the increased pain makes white kittens more affectionate to the owner, because because of this they often feel insecure and are afraid that the owner will not put up with their illnesses, but will simply chase them away.
Cunning colors
However, the color of your future kitten is not the only sign by which you can determine the nature of the pet. Whatever one may say, but the basic habits in many respects also depend on upbringing, and if you devote enough time to your pet, it will never be capricious in vain.
And one more thing: in two-and three-color cats, the characters depend on the predominance of colors in their color, but it is considered that two-color kittens are more playful and cheerful, and three-color kittens are agreeable and devoted to their owners. So if you do not want a single color to be the main color of a kitten, choose a colorful pet and you will not go wrong! However, even if you buy the most quarrelsome kitten, do not be upset: he will still give you a lot of pleasant minutes and will be the favorite of your whole family, who will love him not at all for the color features!
