Moreover, cats with such an amazing color are also called gold: people letting in the house of such a “solar” beast are sure that it will bring joy and fun for all households, and at the same time wealth, which is symbolized by its red hair. It is also believed that red cats like to be kept at home by people with red hair, for whom the cat is a symbol of their cheerful and bright nature.

Cats with red or, as they say felinologists, with red and cream, are considered the most cunning, and it is not surprising: any red cat will always be bold, and the more red in her color, the more difficult it is to agree with her. Such cats require increased attention, and if you do not satisfy their whims, they will take revenge on you.
On the other hand, if you take care of this amazing pet as he requires, the beast will always be kind and affectionate, constantly asking for his hands or snuggling closer to the owner. In addition, the red cat will always be quite playful and mischievous, especially in the “childish” age.
The red cat with green eyes is considered the most fun and amusing: this beast has been loved for a long time. It was believed that the main gift that this red cat gives you is a sign of being chosen: when you touch it, all its fire passes to you, and you become an unusually bright person.

Breeds of red cats
As a rule, red cats can be found in a variety of breeds, although most of the “sun” cats are among the purebred. At the same time, cats of such color are specially bred in many nurseries, because they are the most popular. One of the most interesting red cats is Siamese: in general, this breed is considered quite aggressive, but if a Siamese cat has red or cream wool, it will be much softer and kinder than its “tribesmen”.
Also breeds of red cats can be represented by Persian (including exotic Persians) and British cats (the latter less often) and many long-haired varieties.
At the same time, red cats have excellent pedigree data: it is very easy to cross them, and they easily give a variety of colors that are interesting for breeders. One of them is a white-red cat or a tricolor version (with dark spots), which enjoys extraordinary popularity. In addition, there are red cats with a so-called tabbed pattern – separate spots and stripes similar to tiger, which is very popular with many breeders.
