Abyssinian cat
The Abyssinian cat is remarkably similar to the images of cats that can be seen in ancient Egyptian frescoes. Therefore, many breeders like the legend that these cats are descendants of the sacred temple animals. However, in fact, the Abyssinian breed appeared relatively recently, at the end of the nineteenth century. Ancestor of the breed is a cat brought to England from Ethiopia, which at that time was called Abyssinia.
Abyssinian cat is graceful and harmoniously folded. Thanks to her strong long legs with miniature oval legs, she seems to tiptoe. Ears decorated with dark tassels are widely set on the wedge-shaped head. Widely spaced almond-shaped eyes can be bright green or yellow, with a special dark eyeliner.
The hair of these cats is short, smooth, with each hair should have strips of different shades, and always a dark tip. Currently, experts recognize four main colors: “wild” orange-brown, “bay” chocolate brown, pinkish-beige “faun” and “blue” with soft, warm gray-blue hues.
Abyssinian cats
Abyssinian cat is a wonderful mother, childbirth is usually easy. As a rule, she brings two or three kittens, for which she selflessly cares. For unclear reasons, Abyssinian cats are born less than cats. Perhaps this explains the relative scarcity of this breed. Abyssinian kittens mature slowly. It is recommended to take the kitten from the mother not earlier than three months, so before you buy an Abyssinian kitten, make sure that he has reached the right age. An Abyssinian cat will grow significantly larger than a cat.
Abyssinian breed is not demanding to care for six. They are enough to comb once a week. In the diet, the main requirement is not to overfeed, because the oily body on long legs is a truly sad spectacle.
Uncommon intelligence and active temperament – the Abyssinian cat is distinguished by such features. The nature of these animals is surprisingly intelligent. They are very inquisitive, love to accompany the owner and observe his actions.
The Abyssinian cat looks like a wild reed cat only in appearance, it is not at all aggressive, even in adulthood it loves to play. For her, it is necessary to allocate a place where the cat can climb and sharpen claws. Loving owners, she will be a faithful friend, get along well with children and other inhabitants of the house.
